Add or Edit a Rate Tier

Overview

The rates for a contract are stored in the rate tiers of the contract's strategies. The information and rates that can be stored in a tier are determined by the Rate Type assigned to the overlying strategy.

Process

To Add a Rate Tier:

  1. Open the strategy to which the rate tier will be added. See Enter Contract Strategies for details.
  2. Click Detail.

The Summary of Tiers tab opens.

  1. Click Insert.

To Edit a Rate Tier:

  1. Open the strategy to which the rate tier will be added. See Enter Contract Strategies for details.
  2. Click Detail.

The Summary of Tiers tab opens.

  1. Select the tier to be modified.
  2. Click Edit.

Result

The New Tier tab opens. The layout of the tab will change based on the Rate Type in the overlying strategy. See the individual rate type topics below for details on each.
