Carriers

Overview

Carriers are the parties responsible for the physical movement of freight between two locations. Contract Manager can support carriers that are:

• exclusive to ProTrans,
• exclusive to a customer contract, or
• are shared by both ProTrans and a customer.

In addition to details such as contact information, identification codes, and insurance information, Contract Manager can track standard transit times and operating terminal locations for any carrier.

Carriers in Contract Manager are primarily maintained by Procurement.
