Format a CSV File for Tier Tables

Overview

The simple nature of a Contract Manager tier table makes them a good candidate for importing from a CSV file. In Contract Manager, an accessorial tier table has three columns: From, To, and Value. The CSV file should be set up using the same columns, which allows it to be imported directly into Jaguar.

Process

To Format a CSV File for Use as a Tier Table:

  1. Create a blank spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel.
  2. Enter the column headers FROM, TO, and VALUE in row 1.
  3. Enter all required values in each column.

  1. Click File.
  2. Click Save As.

  1. Enter a File Name.
  2. Select CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv) for the Save as type.
  3. Click Save.

Result

The CSV file is ready to be imported as an accessorial tier table.
