Format a CSV File for Tier Tables
Overview
The simple nature of a Contract Manager tier table makes them a good candidate for importing from a CSV file. In Contract Manager, an accessorial tier table has three columns: From, To, and Value. The CSV file should be set up using the same columns, which allows it to be imported directly into Jaguar.
Process
To Format a CSV File for Use as a Tier Table:
- Create a blank spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel.
- Enter the column headers FROM, TO, and VALUE in row 1.
- Enter all required values in each column.
- Click File.
- Click Save As.
- Enter a File Name.
- Select CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv) for the Save as type.
- Click Save.
Result
The CSV file is ready to be imported as an accessorial tier table.
