Shipment Tracking Overview
Overview
The tracking map is a graphic interface that shows the last known location of loads and their associated shipments on a map of North America and Central America. Once clicked on, each icon shows further detail regarding the shipment, to include due date, ETA, PUL number, origin, and destination. Locations shown on the map are based on the zip code of the last update given by the carrier.
Icons designating loads are color coded. Colors are based off of the customer's requirements for defining late loads and shipments.
- Green: The load is on time.
- Yellow: The load is late but still within parameters that will not dramatically affect the customer's operations.
- Red: The load is seriously past due and intervention should be taken to avoid loss of revenue.
- Green/Yellow/Red: The load has multiple shipments with varying statuses. For example, the load may have one shipment that is on time and two shipments that are seriously past due.
Shipments within a load may be viewed by clicking on the load. The shipment ID is also color coded to denote whether the shipment is late or not.
