Search for Requests

Search Parameters

To locate a specific request or set of requests, apply one or more of the following search parameters.

  • Shipment Request ID: Displays specific requests. you must enter the entire request ID, including leading letters or numbers. Partial IDs will not work. If you search for multiple IDs they must be separated by a comma (,).
  • Customer: Displays all requests associated with a specific customer.
  • BillTo: Displays all requests associated with a specific BillTo entity type. As you type, the portal makes recommendations. If you do not have the permission level to view requests of a specific bill-to, requests will not be displayed.
  • Origin: Displays all requests that originate from a specific ShipFrom entity type. As you type, the portal makes recommendations. If you do not have the permission level to view a specific ShipFrom's requests, requests will not be displayed.
  • Destination: Displays all requests that terminate at a specific ShipTo entity type. As you type the portal makes recommendations. If you do not have the permission level to view a specific ShipTo's requests, they will not be displayed.
  • Carrier: Displays all requests that (if accepted) will be fulfilled by a given carrier. Note: This option cannot be used for unplanned shipment requests because a carrier has not yet been designated.
  • Load Start Window: Displays all loads that start or will start in a specific date range.

Process

To Build a Custom Search:

  1. Choose a criterion from the drop-down list under the Search By section.
  2. Enter applicable information in the text entry field.
  3. Click Add Criteria.

Add additional criteria by repeating steps 1-3.

  1. If desired, select one or more statuses from the Status dropdown. For a description of the request statuses, Differentiating Between Request Statuses
  2. If desired, select one or more request types from the Type dropdown.
  3. Click Search .

Customer Portal displays all requests matching the given search criteria.
