Track a Load Using TI Latina
Overview
TI Latina is a third-party service that allows tracking a truck in Mexico via the GPS location. Telling Optimiz to track a load using TI Latina allows TI Latina Tracking Status to be updated automatically, providing real-time tracking of a load's location.
Prerequisites
- The selected carrier for the load must be a Mexican Carrier.
- Users must have access to the trailer number or truck number to create the tracking order in TI Latina.
Process
To Track a Load Using TI Latina:
- Access the Load Details for the load to be tracked using TI Latina. See View Load Details for details.
- Click Carrier Details.
- Enter the Tracking Unit # for the load.
- Enter the Track Interval.
- Enter the End Tracking Date. This date can not be prior to the start tracking date. NOTE: Updates will be sent in interval until midnight Central Time.
- Click Track by TI Latina.
NOTE: Tracking a Load using TI Latina only adds In Transit check calls, the Stop Arrival and Stop Departure check calls still need to be filled manually.
Result
The status obtained through TI Latina Tracking will complete an extra In Transit Check Call an it will be shown in the Check Call column in the Load Management results grid. In addition, the info obtained from TI Latina will update the Event History at a Load level.
Track Response Codes
The following is a list of Track Response Codes used by Optimiz when using TI Latina Tracking.

9001 | Tracking Unit # field is blank. Please fill it out correctly. |
9002 | Carrier’s SCAC is blank in Optimiz. Please request support from Procurement and a supervisor. |
9003 | Optimiz error. Please contact the BA team at BAs@protrans.com |
9004 | Track Star Date / Time not Informed. Please contact the BA team at BAs@protrans.com |
