Missed Check Call
Overview
The Missed Check Call Exception icon appears if a check call was not entered by the expected time.
Carriers are expected to enter check calls before they become overdue. ProTrans provides MacroPoint, EDI, and the Carrier Portal for carriers to enter their own check calls. If a carrier indicates system problems, contact the Help Desk.

Process
To Clear a Missed Check Call Exception:
- Contact the carrier directly or use a carrier’s online tracking solution using the Pro Number associated with the load.
- Enter a check call as described. Complete a Check Call
Result
The ETA Exception Icon is removed from the load. The entry that indicates a missed check remains in the event log.
When a Check Call exception is cleared on a load it will never come back, even if the carrier misses another check call.
