Tender a Load Manually

Overview

Before a carrier picks up a load, it must be tendered. Tenders are sent automatically at 11:00 am the day before they are scheduled to be picked up or immediately if the pickup is in less than 24 hours. However, if a carrier indicates they are ready for a tender before the scheduled tender time, it can be manually tendered through Load Management.

If the carrier is set up for email tenders but no email address has been added to the carrier entity in Optimiz, an error message will appear with a link to the entity so an email address can be added.

Prerequisites

Only loads in Ready to Tender status can be manually tendered.

Process

To Manually Submit a Tender to a Carrier:

  1. Search for and select the load to be tendered. See Search for Active Loads for details.
  2. Click Tender.

Result

The load is tendered to the carrier. Loads in Pending Planning will be cleared once tendered.
