Updating Shipment Information

Overviews

Users can update shipments directly on the Supplier Portal's Planned Shipment tab. Areas that can be updated include:

  • Pieces
  • Weight
  • HazMat information
  • Freight dimensions

Only one row can be edited at a time. Updates are immediately applied throughout Optimiz.

When Should I Update Planned Shipments?

Shipments should be updated as soon as there are changes in order to keep ProTrans updated and to avoid any delays in the shipment.

Process

To Update Planned Shipments:

  1. Search for the shipment. See Search for Shipments.
  2. Click Pieces to update the piece count if necessary. Use the arrows to adjust the number or type the number.

  1. Click Weight to update the weight if necessary. Use the arrows to adjust the number or type the number.

  1. Click the HazMat checkbox to add any Hazmat information if necessary.

  1. Enter the UN Number.
  2. Enter the Hazard Class.
  3. Enter the Packing Group.
  4. Click Save to save the HazMat information or click Cancel to exit without saving.

  1. Click Freight Dimensions to update the dimensions if necessary.

  1. Enter the length in inches.
  2. Enter the width in inches.
  3. Enter the height in inches.
  4. Click Save to update the freight dimensions. Click Cancel to exit without saving.

  1. Once finished with all updates, click Save Selected Row & Refresh Grid.

Result

Updates are saved and immediately available throughout Optimiz.
