Add a Transportation Mode

To Add a Transportation Mode:

1. Click + Add new record.

2. Type the name of the new mode in the Transportation Mode Name field.
3. Type the Jaguar Name.
4. Click the clock in the Tendering Response Time field and select a tendering response time, or enter the response time manually.

The tendering response time is the default window of time in which the carrier must respond to tenders assigned to that mode. This default value can be overridden for a specific carrier on that carrier’s entity record.

5. Click in the Status field and select a status (Active, Pending or Inactive); the default setting is Active.
6. Enter the EDI Explained Description Code (1-2 digits), if needed.
7. Select the Default box to make the mode the default setting.
8. Click Save Changes to continue, or Cancel Changes to discard.
