Find one or more loads matching provided search criteria, such as pickup date, customer, or carrier.

Handle Tenders

Send tenders to carriers, providing them with the necessary details to transport a load and agreeing to pay them for their services.

Track & Trace

View many details about the load, including the stops, route distance, and carrier reported ETA. Review the Event Log for a chronological report of all the activities on the load.

Enter Check Calls

Enter check calls to update the physical location of a load, such as when the truck has left a given stop or its last known location between two stops.

Write Messages

Record internal or external message to provide further insight into actions taken on a load.

Edit Loads

Modify any component of a load, such as adding or removing shipments or changing the carrier.

Overview

Load Management is the opening screen and main focus point for all activities performed on active loads. Many ProTrans employees use load management to accomplish their daily work tasks.

What is a Load?

Load: A Load represents a truck. It contains information such as the carrier, the stops on the route, and a list of shipments being carried by the truck.

Shipment: A Shipment represents freight. It contains information about the origin, destination, pickup and delivery times, and handling units.

Handling Unit: A Handling Unit represents individual pallets. It contains information about what is being moved, including product description, NMFC class, freight value, quantity, dimensions, and weight.
