Access Accounting/Financial Data

Overview

Each entity in Optimiz has specific, required data that allows the entity to be used in posting financial transactions to the accounting system. The Accounting/Financial Data feature allows Accounting personnel to create, add, or edit the financial information of an entity and create a relationship between the customer and a tenant.

Only users with the Accounting or Accounting Manager role can add or edit accounting data.

When Should I Access the Accounting Financial Data?

Whenever accounting or financial data must be added or edited.

Process

To Access Accounting/Financial Data:

  1. Open the Customer Hierarchy. See Access the Customer Hierarchy.
  2. Click on the wrench at any level of the Customer Hierarchy.
  3. Click on Accounting/Financial Data.The Billing Financial Data dialog box displays.

Result

The Accounting/Financial Data section of the entity opens.
