Add a User's MacroPoint Password

Overview

Some ProTrans carriers use MacroPoint, a third-party service, to update the status of their loads. ProTrans employees can link loads to MacroPoint to automatically update a load's status in Optimiz. To support this ability to automatically update a load's status, a MacroPoint password needs to be added to the carrier's user profile.

Prerequisites

• The user must already have a valid MacroPoint account.

Process

To Add a User's MacroPoint Password:

1. Access the user record to be updated. See Search for a User for details.
2. Enter the user's MacroPoint Password.
3. Click Save to save the update or Cancel to discard it.

Result

The user's MacroPoint password is saved to the user record and will be used to access MacroPoint when updating loads.
