Check Call In The Future

Error

The EDI document is missing one or more required fields. Additional message: Future date/time submitted as checkcall update; unable to process.

Cause:

This error has the following causes:

  • The date referenced at location AT705 is in the future.
  • The time referenced at location AT706 is in the future.
  • The time referenced at location AT706 and the time zone referenced at location AT707 are in the future. See example in the Solution section.

Troubleshooting

Examine the data at location AT705 – is the date greater than the expected date for the associated check call?

Examine the time at location AT706 – is the time greater than the expected time for the associated check call?

Examine the time zone at location AT707 – do the time and time zone correspond to each other?

Solution

If the date or time specified at location AT705 or AT706 is greater than the expected date or time for the associated check call:

  • Resubmit the EDI 214 message when the actual date and time is equal to or greater than the expected date and time.
  • Do not send EDI 214 messages for dates or times in the future.

If the time zone referenced at location AT707 does not correspond to the time referenced at location AT706:

  • Ensure the time zone referenced at location AT707 corresponds to the time referenced at location AT706.

For example: The time is 7:30 ET (5:30 MT). You receive an In-Transit check call for freight in Louisville, KY and your call center is in Phoenix, AZ. The driver tells you it is 7:30. You should either enter the time as 7:30 ET or 5:30 MT. If you enter 7:30 MT, you will receive the error because 7:30 MT is in the future. Ideally, enter all check call data based on your call center’s actual time and let Optimiz handle time conversions.
