Review Shipment Exceptions

Overview

Shipment exceptions indicate the shipment has a property out of the ordinary, and they need to be addressed before the trailer leaves the dock. The mobile app shows three kind of exceptions: hot shipments still on dock, due shipments still on dock, and inbond shipments uncancelled.

• Hot Shipments Still on Dock: Shipments that need to be monitored closely to ensure on-time delivery.
• Due Shipments Still on Dock: Shipments with a due date of the day the user is making the search.
• Inbond Shipments Uncancelled: Only available if the Inbond Registration Exception has not been cleared. Inbond records need to be cleared to be moved to cancelled status.

Process

To Review Shipments Exceptions:

1. Tap Exceptions.
2. Enter the Trailer Bar Codeand tap the magnifying glass.
3. Tap Shipment Exceptions.

The Shipment Exceptions page opens.

Result

The user will be able to review if there is any shipment exception related with a particular trailer.
