Optimiz Mobile App

Overview

Optimiz is the web-based Transportation Management System (TMS) used by ProTrans. Access to Optimiz is controlled by a uniquely assigned username and password. The privileges associated with the user account determine what functions are available. Usernames and passwords are assigned to employees when they have a need to access the system. There is a mobile version of Optimiz that runs on a handheld scanner that is used by dock personnel to perform various tasks on the dock.

When should I log in to the Optimiz mobile app?

Log in to Optimiz on a mobile device to perform activities such as:

• Receiving or loading freight at a dock or warehouse.
• Updating or adding information to a shipment.

Prerequisites

• User must have a username and password. Contact the user's supervisor to obtain a username and password.
• The ProTrans Dock app must already be installed on the mobile device.

Process

To Log In to the Optimiz Mobile App:

1. Open the ProTrans Dock app.
2. Enter the Username of the user accessing the app.
3. Enter the Password associated with the entered user name.
4. Tap Log On.

Result

The Main Menu opens.
