Download a Complemento Carta Porte Format

Overview

Government regulations in Mexico require that any carrier that moves freight in Mexican territory and to the United States submits a Complemento Carta Porte format.

Users are able to view, download, and print a Complemento Carta Porte for the shipments contained in the loads they are moving from the Carrier Portal.

Prerequisites

  • The load containing the desired shipment(s) must have its Origin in Mexican territory, and its Destination must be in Mexico or in the United States.

Process

To Download a Complemento Carta Porte Format:

  1. Search for and select a load in the Carrier Portal. Make sure to search by load. In case there is more than one shipment per load you will need to print a Complemento Carta Porte format for each shipment contained in the load.
  1. Hover your mouse over Shipping Documents.
  2. Click View Documents.

A pop-up window opens.

  1. Click View Attachment in the Complemento Carta Porte Document row.

A second pop-up window will open.

  1. Click the Excel icon in the download bar.

Result

The Complemento Carta Porte format will open.
